It’s the reference design, but it costs 50 dollars more

High-quality mainboard and video card manufacturer EVGA launched today the reverence-based EVGA GeForce GTX 690 Signature Edition (04G-P4-2692-KR), on its official website.

The card has the same layout as Nvidia’s own reference design and also comes with the same default frequencies of 915/1019/6008 MHz for the core, boost and memory.

EVGA does offer a perfectly identical reference edition card, but the Signature Edition comes with a 50 USD premium for an EVGA-branded T-shirt and mouse pad.

The reference design is available on EVGA online store at the usual price of 999 USD, and the Signature Edition is up for pre-order, at a price of 1,049 USD.

That would be 757 EUR and 795 EUR respectively for the European gamers, but we don’t really expect such low prices for them.
