Building a six-core Sandy Bridge-E system is anything but cheap, so EVGA has recently started selling a bundle that makes the deal a little bit sweeter.

Comprising an EVGA X79 Classified motherboard and an Intel Core i7-3960X processor, the bundle will save you $200 (about 152 EUR) from the original $1,499 price of this combo.

If you are wondering how this is possible, the answer is quite simple.

The processors included in this bundle are actually “Open Box” products, as they were used by EVGA’s engineers a few days for running various compatibility tests.

The bundle can be purchased by following this link, but keep in mind that quantities are extremely limited so you’ll have to act fast.
