If you are an NVIDIA fan and you are looking to acquire a new graphics card, then you will probably want to check out EVGA's offer. First off, it has one of the most comprehensive GT200-series offers on the market, so you are bound to find something that comes to meet your every requirement. On top of that, the vendor has recently extended its GTX 260-based offer with a new card that was developed especially for the enthusiasts.

EVGA is currently one of the biggest NVIDIA partners, as it's renowned for providing its users with some of the best high-performance graphics cards available on the market. Its latest addition is based on the mid-range GTX 260 graphics processor and is meant to offer gaming enthusiasts high levels of performance. By adding a water block, the vendor managed to achieve higher clock rates and overall performance. But that has also taken its toll on the price tag of the graphics card, which is listed at $499.99 on EVGA's website.

This pricing is exactly $200 higher than that of a standard GTX 260 but, unlike the standard version, the EVGA GeForce GTX 260 HC provides up to 82MHz more speed for the card's core. The 896MB of GDDR3 memory has been set to work at 2214MHz, providing 123.9GB/s memory bandwidth. The 192 Processing cores are clocked at 1404MHz (1242 MHz stock), which should make this card a rather high-end graphics upgrade for gaming enthusiasts and NVIDIA fans alike. It is currently in stock and available for purchase, according to EVGA's site.

Despite the recent rumors that say that EVGA is preparing to leave NVIDIA's board partner list, this vendor keeps on providing its users with new NVIDIA-based products. So it's safe to say that, at least for the time being, EVGA continues to be one of NVIDIA's best board partners.
