Like some of NVIDIA's other partners, EVGA released an overclocked version of the GeForce GTX 580 video board, and it seems that yet another such card has arisen, bearing a special theme as well.

For those interested in a reminder, the GeForce GTX 580 video card form NVIDIA is, by all accounts, the currently most powerful single-GPU video card on the consumer market.

It is powered by the GF110 graphics processing unit, which is constructed on the 40nm manufacturing process technology.

The card itself features 512 CUDA cores, 1,536 MB of GDDR5 VRAM and a memory interface of 384 bits.

The new model that EVGA has prepared goes by the name of GeForce GTX 580 Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition.

Essentially, it is a GTX 580 with the theme of the eponymous game, theme which comes in the form of a game themed product box, stickers and even a game themed poster.

Granted, that a copy of the game itself is not included may make the offering seem a bit lackluster, but end-users with enough money to buy such a product will no doubt afford the game as well.

Regardless, it is the actual set of specifications that actually makes this video controller appealing to the high-end market segment.

The GPU frequency is of 787 MHz, higher than the reference 772 MHz, while the memory functions at 4,050 MHz and the shaders at 1,594.

For a full comparison, the stock model has shader and memory clocks of 1,544 MHz and 4,008 MHz, respectively.

Finally, DirectX 11, PhysX, CUDA, SlI and 3D Vision Surround are fully supported, while connectivity to displays is ensured by the dual-DVI and mini HDMI outputs.

Those seeking to buy one will find it listed with a price of $519.99 on its maker's own online store, while Newegg also sells it, albeit for $579.99
