If you have been keeping a close eye on Softpedia then you surely have seen all those GTX 570 price leaks that have been coming out of the UK, but the US isn't far behind as Nvidia's future GPU was also spotted Stateside, and this is not your ordinary GTX 570 but a factory overclocked EVGA model.

This news came to out attention via the Chinese Xfastest website, the card being listed on the Ncix.com online store, although the retailer has pulled it off by now.

However, the EVGA GeForce GTX 570 SuperClocked was listed long enough so we can have a look at its full specifications, as EVGA's offering comes with improved core and memory frequencies making it the very first factory overclocked GTX 570 to come to our attention.

Compared to the regular GTX 570, that comes with a 732MHz core and 3,800MHz memory, EVGA's SuperClocked edition features a 797MHz core clock and 3900 MHz memory frequency.

Although it doesn't sound like much, EVGA's SuperClocked models are usually the lest performing of the company's factory overclocking graphics cards, the FTW series getting highest honors in this regard.

If we take this fact into consideration we can expect the GTX 570 to be an impressive overclocker, much similar to the GTX 580 that was launched before it which we uncovered it can go as high as 920Mhz on the core with air cooling alone.

Designed to come as a replacement for the GTX 480, the upcoming GTX 570 will come with 480 CUDA cores, 1.28GB of GDDR5 memory and a 320-bit memory bus, its performance being similar to that of the GTX 480 while running cooler and featuring a lower power consumption.

Although EVGA's GeForce GTX 570 SuperClocked is no longer listed on the Ncix.com website, its price was set at $400.96 when it was available, making it about $79 cheaper than EVGA's GTX 480 SuperClocked.
