The first-person shooter is going to be included for free for a limited time

EVGA was already shipping free copies of the Rise of the Triad first-person shooter (FPS) with its better GeForce 600 graphics cards, but the offer has been extended to the 700 family now.

That means that in addition to the GeForce GTX 690, 680, 670, 660 Ti, 660, 650 Ti BOOST, 650 Ti and 650, the game will be bundled with GeForce GTX 770 and 760 as well.

Well, the game isn't getting bundled, exactly. Instead, EVGA is shipping the Steam code that will allow you to download the title free of charge.

In all honesty, this offer doesn't really measure up to the Never Settle bundles from Advanced Micro Devices, where the year's top games are sold with Radeon HD 7000 adapters.

Still, until NVIDIA shapes up and offers something similar, these OEM bundles are better than nothing. If nothing else, they will give EVGA an edge over other NVIDIA-based card sellers.
