Stuff like this just makes you want to throw your computer out the window. If you're an EVE fan, then you've surely had your ups and downs with the game, but mostly downs. Just as one scandal is put to rest, another emerges. This time: favoured players by CCP employees.

This open letter, posted by ex EVE Players, "levels some new and serious
accusations against CCP, the makers of the EVE Online MMOG," Ariastis reports. "In the letter, chat logs & event timelines, along with description of in-game events from CCP-Approved reporting users, describe how most of the big role-playing events are rigged to favor specific alliances & players by CCP."

That's right boys and girls, some of the users even seem to have CCP employees 'on call', favouring players and alliances in the game. I repeat, if you're a fan then you must already be aware of the issues, but I'm posting an excerpt from the forum thread for everyone to see what's going on.

"Dear CCP,

Once again, it seems that several of your employees have been up to no good. We'll get into the details a little later, but the highlights are quite juicy: CCP employees abusing their roles to join player corporations and give themselves director access, RP-events being rigged and what I really thought we were over, further fraternization between your employees and members of BoB and the subsequent cover-up."

The rest, you can imagine for yourself. How is this possible? What am I doing here? Why am I asking this question? Of course it is possible and if it's possible, someone idiotic enough is going to do it. It's just life. Need I tell you how many EVE fans have dropped the game? Good. Let's just hope that Blizzard's Starcraft 2 will take everyone on board. Stuff like this just makes you sick...!
