EVE Online is slowly but surely growing in popularity. The game designed by CCP Games is far behind World of Warcraft's 4 million users, but it has reached 70,000 subscribers.

The increases were recorded immediately after "EVE Online: Cold War Edition" was launched, when a new record was set: 15,000 players simultaneously connected to the same universe.

The CCP Games team is thrilled by this performance, and they have all the reasons to be like that considering the other competitors in multi-player online business.

The latest EVE Online video clip was downloaded 100,000 times in 48 hours, and, since then, new players have continued to subscribe, CCP Games said.

In fact, the CCP team has noticed that many of the new subscribers have given up others games, the EVE universe being way too interesting and complex.
