Developer CCP seems ready to add the BitTorrent protocol to its official game client in order to make the download process more efficient and eliminate the corrupted downloads that some players are constantly reporting.

The protocol uses a distributed model to break the content that it delivers into small pieces and increases the integrity and speed of the download before rebuilding the entire client and launching the install process for EVE Online, according to PCGamesN.

The MMO is one of the most ambitious in the gaming world because it puts all gamers that are playing in the same game universe and creates a complex structure of choices and consequences that brings player interaction at its core.

The game continues to gain subscribers while CCP is constantly delivering new content, including new ships to build and changes to the core MMO mechanics.
