14 DAY TRIAL // MMO space game EVE Online just released a new update on Macintosh computers, featuring tons of tweaks and improvements geared towards tooltips. Version 8.40.784428 is a free download for all existing players.
Developer CCP Games announced that EVE Online 8.40.784428 will now force the the remaining training time in the tooltip over the Training Queue to tick down, and players will notice tooltips below the buttons in the Selected Item window.
The tooltip position in the F11 map has been fixed, and the targeting indicator in the overview now appears where it should - above the bracket icon. Further changes have been made to the tooltips that appear when hovering over Brackets in space with your mouse. An issue where the tooltips not working when zooming in and out in the map is also addressed.
Many other tooltip issues are corrected in this update, so be sure to download EVE Online 8.40.784428 whenever you get the chance if you’re an avid fan of the sci-fi game.
For newcomers, the minimum requirements are 1.8GHz Intel processor (2.0GHz recommended), 6GB of hard disk space, 2GB of RAM (recommended but 1GB should also work well), and one of the following video cards: ATI X1600, NVidia 7300 GT, ATI X1900 or Nvidia 7600.
