14 DAY TRIAL // The good folks at ESET have just released a new version of their free antivirus solution for Android devices. Those who already have the application installed on their devices will be prompted to update to the latest version via Google Play.
According to the official changelog, the latest update brings some virus scanner improvements, along with minor bug fixes. No further details have been offered on any of these, but we suspect these are not major changes.
Last but not least, developers confirmed the update adds smaller UI improvements, which will probably be noticeable by those using the application for a long time.
You can now download ESET Mobile Security & Antivirus for Android 2.0.853.0 for free via Google Play Store. The application should be fully compatible with most devices powered by Android 2.3 and up.
