A new flavor of the popular ES File Explorer File Manager is now available for download for the owners of Android-based devices, namely version 1.6.2.3.
One of the main changes included in the new release is the added permission to read phone state, which is based on the user request to add a new feature to the app, namely pause music play on incoming calls.
To enable the new feature,
the application needs to be aware of phone’s state, the team of devs behind the app explains.
Other notable changes in the new app version include the addition of a feedback button in About us, along with sort in server list and digest, ntlm auth for webdav.
