14 DAY TRIAL // One of the most spectacular moments of the night at this year’s MTV European Music Awards was, without a doubt, the moment rapper Eminem took to the stage to perform a medley – and literally brought the house down.
You can see his performance embedded in the video below: Em included in it two of his latest singles off the “Marshall Mathers LP2” album,” “Berzerk” and “Rap God.”
Both versions are clean, from what I can hear.
Eminem got the party started with “Berzerk,” which is comparatively lighter in tone and more fun than the darker “Rap God.” Throughout his entire performance, his fans in the audience, including big name pop stars like Rita Ora, screamed, danced and sang to the lyrics, clearly having a good time.
At the same awards show, Eminem took home the award for Global Icon, honoring his contribution to the music industry. After seeing “Rap God” live, I can’t imagine any other artist more worthy of this distinction right now.
