An international expo may be going on this very moment, but it seems some companies are already looking forward to the next one, CeBIT that is, one of them being EKL, which has already prepared a product.

It seems that, even with all the news about all the new tablets that came out over the past couple of days, companies still have time for other things.

Since only companies that deal in mobile electronics, or related products, had any business attending the mobile World Congress 2011 trade show, the rest were left with two so-called choices.

One option is to wait until the consumer base again turned its attention to the rest of the IT industry.

The other option is to make announcements right now, regardless of what potential consumers are focused on.

EKL can be said to have done something in between, as it revealed the existence of a product but has yet to make it available.

The company, being a cooling specialist, revealed that it was working on a very massive VGA cooler, one that will make its formal appearance in March, during CeBIT 2011.

It goes by the name of Alpenfohn Peter and is said to be the first one capable of allowing two 140mm fans, or four 120mm ones, to be installed.

Said spinners are possible to add via a special-purpose PCI bracket that uses a rail fastening system to keep them in place.

Either way, EKL's Alpenfohn Peter is a large metal beast, with 91 nickel-plated aluminum fins and six copper heatpipes.

They should be usable with a wide variety of graphics cards form both NVIDIA and Advanced Micro Devices, up to the latter's Radeon HD 6800 series and NVIDIA's GeForce 400 and 500 series.

Unfortunately, no pricing details were given, but these final details will no doubt be made public once CeBIT 2011 comes around, between March 1 and 5.
