Called EK-FC780 GTX DCII, it directly cools the GPU, RAM and VRM

Once again, EK Water Blocks has broken its silence in order to officially introduce another water cooling product. This time, we are looking at something for NVIDIA's second best single-GPU video card.

One of the main problems that enthusiasts have with graphics cards and central processors is the weak cooling.

Sure, the air coolers can handle a decent amount of heat, but when it comes to overclocking they can't do much to prevent a literal meltdown.

That is why water coolers, and coolers that use some other type of coolant, are so successful on the high-end front.

By extension, that is why EK Water Blocks, the Ljubljana based premium water cooling gear manufacturer, has such an easy time selling its products.

We don't know how well it's been doing, but seeing as how a new model comes out every other week, we assume interest is quite high.

The latest model is called EK-FC780 GTX DCII and was made for the ASUS DirectCU II series NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 graphics card.

There are multiple variants available. Here is the entire list.

EK-FC780 GTX DCII - Nickel - €102.95 / $102.95 EK-FC770 GTX DCII - Acetal+Nickel - €104.95 / $104.95 EK-FC770 GTX DCII - Nickel (Original CSQ) – €104.95 / $104.95

Besides the main cooler, the company has made available a backplate: EK-FC770 GTX DCII Backplate – Black, priced at €26.38 / $26.38.

In all cases, the cooler makes direct contact with the GPU, the VRAM chips and the VRM (voltage regulation module). Needless to say, the very high flow design is implemented too, allowing the EK-FC780 GTX DCII to be easily used in liquid cooling systems using weaker water pumps.

Up to four of them can be interconnected with EK-FC Terminal or EK-FC Bridge & Link CSQ system. Purchases can be done through EK Webshop and Partner Reseller Network.
