Famous professional display maker, Japanese company Eizo has just announced the new ColorEdge CG246 professional monitor, on its official website. This is a 24” monitor featuring a less popular 24.1” diagonal size that uses a 1920 by 1200 pixel resolution.
The new device features an
IPS mate panel and it can display 10-bit colors using the company’s proprietary ASIC.
Eizo’s ColorEdge CG246 professional monitor comes with an integrated color calibrator and with very good color reproduction while avoiding most of the possible distortions or other unwanted behavior.
The backpanel is very rich in connectivity options, providing a DVI-I connector, a HDMI port, a DisplayPort, two USB 2.0 ports and two USB type B ports for control functions.
The maximum power consumption is a high 98 watts and that means that the brightness is really close to the rated 300 cd/sqm value.
