With third-party performance improvements, battery enhancements

BlackBerry Z10 handsets on the network of EE in the UK can now be upgraded to the new BlackBerry OS 10.0.10.90 platform release, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

The new software update brings along a series of overall system enhancements, while also improving the overall performance of third-party applications, enabling them to run fast and smooth, it seems.

According to a recent post on CrackBerry, some of the main changes in the new OS release include fixes for Gmail calendars and improvements in the BlackBerry Hub, along with enhancements to importing contacts from online sources.

Furthermore, the handset’s camera is now optimized for low-light, and there are also changes in the manner in which the browser handles video playback. Apparently, the update also brings a series of battery enhancements to the device.
