It seems like with every passing day we get more and more previews of future LGA 1155 Sandy Bridge motherboards, ECS being the latest company to join the party with its P67H2-A Black Extreme Edition offering that packs quite an interesting array of features.

Sporting pretty much one of the coolest looks that I have come to witness until now, this motherboard features an impressive specs list, Lucid's Hydra technology making its way on the board together with four USB 3.0 ports as well as SATA6G connectivity for high speed storage devices.

Going for a Lucid Hybra chip means that users will most certainly have the opportunity of running their graphics cards at full x16 PCIe speed.

Taking a quick look at the video, reveals a pretty well laid out motherboard, with enough room around the CPU area, the SATA ports being angled at 90 degrees in order not to interfere with longer graphics cards.

Moving on, ECS used a pretty hefty solution for cooling the P67 chipset and power delivery circuitry that makes use of a dual heatpipe design to transfer heat between those hefty heatsinks.

Although this will probably prove to be a bit overkill for the P67 chipset, is nice that ECS made such a stride in providing overclockers with an improved cooling solution, the LCD debug display being also a really useful feature that I would most certainly like to see on more motherboards.

As far as I can tell, other features include on-board Power and Reset buttons, a Clear CMOS switch being also present next to the rear USB ports.

End of it all, I will let you check ECS' P67H2-A Black Extreme Edition motherboard out for yourself thanks to the enclosed video.

Unfortunately, there is no info on pricing just yet, but this will most definitely come once we get closer to the Sandy Bridge launch date. (via vortez.co.uk)
