Looks like people who want to play films from their PC on their TVs but don't or can't move that big thing around, or want to have a laptop close if that's what they're using, can easily stream things to the HDTV once they get the new ECS Wi-Bridge.

Basically, this is a small, portable Wi-Fi wireless display adapter that easily plugs into the TV via HDMI and streams media in up to 1080p quality.

Most video, audio and photo file formats should be supported and there are several display modes available as well.

Furthermore, it can switch between multiple wireless signal sources when required, making it as valuable at work, during conference presentations, as well as at home. It even has a remote control.

The operative range of the gadget is 30 meters, or 100 feet, give or take.

Alas, the exact specs of the ECS Wi-Bridge, as well as the price, were not mentioned.
