But no official release

Following yesterday's post on MSI's upcoming Intel-supporting, NVIDIA-based motherboard, it looks as though yet another manufacturer is getting ready to announce its very first mobo featuring NVIDIA's GeForce 9300 chipset. ECS has already listed the upcoming board, although the company is yet to unveil the technical specifications for it.

NVIDIA's Intel-supporting GeForce 9300/nForce 730i chipset is yet to be unveiled, but given the recently revealed mobos from both MSI and ECS, it is believed that an official release will be taking place sometime in the upcoming days.

As already noted in yesterday's article, the new GeForce 9300-enabled mobos will be capable of offering users a highly capable desktop platform, featuring the graphics power of the integrated GeForce 9300 IGP. The GF9300T-A Black series motherboard from ECS makes no exception from that rule, as it was built to deliver support for Intel's latest high-end processors, combined with the graphics capability of NVIDIA's GeForce9 series.

Basically, ECS' yet-to-be announced mobo will enable system builders to create a mainstream desktop system that isn't necessarily high-priced. Given the board's NVIDIA-powered IGP, it comes with support for DirectX 10 and NVIDIA's PureVideo HD technology. In addition, the four DDR2 memory DIMMs can carry up to 32GB of DDR2-800 dual channel memory.

Because the product hasn't been officially launched, there aren't that many details to go on, aside from what we can see in the product picture. The board will provide 6 SATA connectors and one ATA133. It comes with just one PCI-E Gen. 2 graphics slot that can be used in a Hybrid SLI setup, in order to improve the system's overall graphics performance. There are two PCI -E x1 and three PCI slots.

No word on pricing just yet, but chances are it won’t be that long until these details will be made available. Stay tuned here.
