EASY Way to Test Your Antivirus!

Do you think you are still vulnerable?

An antivirus solution tends to become one of the most important programs that must be installed on a computer. No matter if a computer is connected to the internet or not, every user must install a powerful antivirus program to protect his information of viruses, malware and other infected files. At this time, a lot of developers are working hard to create the most powerful antivirus solution, but only some of them managed to design useful tools. We cannot talk about the best antivirus

because every user has a favorite application and he imagines that a solution that helped him is surely the best of all.

I'm sure you already installed one of the most known antivirus application on the internet or maybe a free one, but even so, you can't be sure you are 100 percent protected, since a virus developer releases a malicious file and until the company provides the update for the program, there is a time that makes all of us vulnerable to that virus; so no one can sustain you're 100% safe.

If you want to test you antivirus for its integrity and power, you should use an easy way published by Sankar Anand on his blog that can be done following only 4 steps. So, you should start Notepad (Right Click/New Text Document or Start/Run/Notepad) and then open it. Then, you should write the following line:

X5O!P%@AP[4PZX54(P^)7CC)7}$EICAR-STANDARD-ANTIVIRUS-TEST-FILE!$H H*

The last step is to save the document on you desktop and scan it with your program. If your antivirus can detect a malware EICAR Test-Not Virus!! then you own a powerful antivirus solution. Remember that the document created by you is not a real virus, so you are safe to use it. After the test, you can delete the file or you can follow the instructions provided by the antivirus.
