14 DAY TRIAL // EA’s Tetris spinoff I reported on last week has managed to take the first spot in Apple’s Top Free Apps chart on iTunes. The game is a free download for all iDevice owners.
Being one of the most popular games of all times, Tetris has spawned a lot of remakes and spinoffs, and the latest one seems to be just as successful.
EA’s Tetris Blitz pits players against the clock in two-minute blitz games where they must clear lines and rack up as many points as possible before the timer runs out.
“With all-new features, stunning visuals, and innovative controls, this twist on the world-famous puzzle game is a must-have on mobile,” says EA, and apparently people all around the world agree.
You can have it on your iPhone or iPad for free, as long as you’re running iOS 4.3 or a newer firmware version.
