The development team at EA Sports says that it will continue to create college-themed American football titles in the coming years and is working with the Collegiate Licensing Company in order to get access to player names and likenesses.

Andrew Wilson, an executive vice president at the company, tells Polygon that, "Our relationship with the Collegiate Licensing Company is strong and we are already working on a new game for next generation consoles which will launch next year and feature the college teams, conferences and all the innovation fans expect from EA Sports."

Apparently, the new deal is starting on July 1, 2014 and is set to last for three years.

EA Sports and the NCAA severed ties, apparently because of the recent lawsuits that have targeted the college football franchise.

NCAA Football 14 is the last title to use the logo and names associated with the series so far.
