The development team at EA Sports announces that its upcoming UFC video game will get an official demo on June 3, on both the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the Xbox One from Microsoft, allowing gamers to try out the core mechanics ahead of the delivery of the full version of the title on June 17.

Gamers will be able to choose between cover athletes Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson as they battle in a match that features all the important elements of the new title.

The demo will be introduced at different times on the Xbox Live service and on the PlayStation Network, according to Twitter.

EA Sports UFC is designed to use the new Ignite game engine to capture the movement and the combat skills of the fighters who are part of the real-world Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The development team has said that it wants to deliver an accurate simulation that allows players to deploy tactics and quick thinking in order to predict the moves of their enemies and then take them down.

The title is only being launched on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One because the new engine cannot deliver the complex physical simulation on older consoles.

Bruce Lee is included as a pre-order incentive for all those interested in the title.
