FIFA is one of the biggest franchises in the world of games and developer EA Sports has promised that this year’s installment of the football simulation game will deliver revolutionary changes to the experience and will aim to capture the drama of real-world matches.

David Rutter, who is the executive producer working on FIFA 13, stated, “We are perfecting the best sports game in the world with innovations that capture all the drama and unpredictability of real-world football.”

He added, “These are game-changing innovations that will revolutionize our artificial intelligence, dribbling, ball control and collisions to create a true battle for possession across the entire pitch, and deliver freedom and creativity in attack.”

The main inspiration for FIFA 13, according to the development team, is Lionel Messi, widely seen as the biggest star of the game, and his ability to move around the pitch and get past players has led to the creation of the Complete Dribbling system.

The new feature will allow gamers to be more creative and more precise when it comes to one-on-one duels, using dribble touches and all around mobility to get the ball past defenders and closer to the net.

FIFA 13 will need to deliver a better experience than the 2012 installment of the game, which was one of the best titles in the franchise in years, and that means a serious upgrade for the Player Impact Engine, which expands the focus on physics and makes the entire experience more realistic.

The game also offers more precision when it comes to ball and player movement and more tactical options for the fan who likes to tweak the way his team moves around.

FIFA 13 will also offer more than 500 officially licensed clubs and the images of the best players in the game.

EA Sports is planning to launch the game at some point during September.
