EA Sports has announced that the newest in its line up of fitness videogames, called EA Sports Active More Workouts, is now out in stores in North America and is slated to also arrive in Europe on November 20.

The new title, which has been created by the team at EA Canada, is set to enhance the exercise line up offered by the series and provide more customizable workouts to all those interested in keeping fit and watching their weight. EA Sports is touting that More Workouts is the result of a collaboration with Bob Greene, a physiologist who specializes in exercise and currently serves as the personal trainer of TV personality Oprah.

EA Sports is saying that there are now 35 new exercises players can try out and any of them can be partnered up with old ones to create new routines serving every need a player might have. The game also comes with pre-sets that focus on an upper body or a lower body work out and also on cardio training. For the first time in the series, More Workouts is set to allow players to emphasize routines targeting the abdominal muscles, with Curl Ups, Crunches and Punches offered to all those who want to reduce the size of their belly.

The 6 Week Challenge is now tougher than ever, allowing fitness-oriented gamers to actually get themselves into impressive shape by following a daily routine that gets tougher as the weeks go by. To encourage players to change their whole lifestyle as they use More Workouts, EA Sports is also shipping a Special Edition Bob Greene Nutrition Best Life Book, which offers 80 pages of advice and recipes. Players will also be able to transfer personal profile details and performance data from other games like EA SPORTS Active Personal Trainer.
