Electronic Arts representatives confirmed the upcoming release of EA Replay, the compilation release for PSP we've heard rumors about, for the past few weeks. This collection of older games stems from the back catalog area of Super Nintendo and Genesis. It's the early 90's revisited, taking advantage of current generation console to bind them all together. Being EA's main PSP lab, Canada's Vancouver team is in charge of development, with a deadline signaling
the November 15 release for $19.99.

"We're very excited to be offering PSP consumers an unprecedented glimpse into EA's past," said David McCarthy, the project's Executive Producer. "EA Replay is a rich compilation of classic EA IP that stays true to the original experiences, while offering modern gamers additional features geared towards on-the-go game play."

EA announced that the collection will feature a total of 14 games from a number of the company's fondly remembered franchises, such as the Strike series, Road Rash, and Wing Commander. Specifically, EA Replay will include Syndicate, Ultima VII: The Black Gate, the first three Road Rash titles, Wing Commander, and Wing Commander: The Secret Missions.

Other titles confirmed include B.O.B., Budokan, Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Haunting Starring Polterguy, Virtual Pinball, and Mutant League Football. To beef up the offer, some of these titles will also introduce a number of newly devised features, like multiplayer modes, unlockable original game art along with instant game-save capabilities. The days where you needed to write down a 16 digit code to safeguard your progress seem long gone.
