Frank Gibeau, the leader of the EA Labels division, says that there is no other first-person shooter on the market at the moment that can offer an experience comparable to that of the coming Battlefield 4 from DICE.
The executive tells IGN that, "The mix of vehicles and infantry combat with fully destructible environments in very large levels, nobody matches that. Until they do, we have a unique position, and I think we have a great position."
The statement is clearly aimed at the rival Call of Duty series from Activision, which will get a new Ghosts installment in the fall.
Battlefield 4 will use the new Frostbite 3 engine to deliver impressive graphics while the single-player campaign will be focused on emotion and characters.
The multiplayer will deliver 64 gamer battles and a new take on the Commander Mode.
