EA Launches Battlefield 3: Aftershock for iPhone, iPad

After much anticipation from the iOS gamer fan-base, Electronic Arts has unleashed Battlefield 3: Aftershock on the iTunes App Store.

Approved by Apple today, Battlefield 3: Aftershock comes with a free multiplayer map brought to you by Act of Valor.

Players will sharpen their skills with “pulse-pounding combat”, engage in intense multiplayer team battles in stunning settings with 4 weapons and a fifth one to unlock. “Reload your love of mobile shooters with the BATTLEFIELD 3: Aftershock!”, says Electronic Arts.

The game is compatible with iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (3rd generation), iPod touch (4th generation) and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later. It’s free to download and play.
