EA Gothenburg Confirms New Title in the Need for Speed Franchise

It looks like new rumors on an unannounced title in the Need for Speed franchise have just surfaced. A new EA studio, known as EA Gothenburg confirmed plans to develop a new game that will soon be made official.

The new studio has already started to hire qualified personnel for the new game: “Would you like to be a part of EA? Would you like to work on a game in the Need for Speed franchise? You now have the opportunity to become a part of EA Gothenburg and fulfill those two wishes!”

Just like previous games in the series, the new title will be developed using Frostbite 2 engine. EA has yet to officially announce the name of the new EA Gothenburg project, so stay tuned for more updates on the matter.
