EA Details Singer and Magician Careers for Sims 3 Showtime

The new Sims expansion Showtime will focus on entertainment professions and the developers at Electronic Arts have released information about how the magician and the singer will stand out from the crowd.

When the player chooses to become a magician he first needs to hit the street in order to perform magic tricks for small tips, before starting to visit new venues and negotiate with their owners in order to get higher fees and appear in front of more people.

As magicians level up they will be able to perform tricks on other Sims in social situations and they will get access to the Box of Danger, where real death might happen if the performer does not pay attention.

When gamers chose the singing career they will get singing telegraphs as their main assignment, going to various Sims and singing about the events that happen around town, before also booking gigs in various venues, leveling up their skills and getting a big concert to top off their career.
