EA Senior Producer Kip Katsarelis has just unveiled some of the changes that will be introduced in the next update for SimCity.

After releasing updates 1.7 and 1.8, which address some traffic issues and add some general improvements, Katsarelis took the time to inform SimCity players that update 2.0 is now in the works and would be ready soon.

According to him, “in Update 2.0, we’ll be addressing the Recycling Center bug, fixing the fire engine clumping, improving the efficiency of Street Cars, and increasing the radius of river water. We’re also fixing the tuning on Casinos and are making them more profitable.”

Obviously, there are only the important changes coming in Update 2.0, but minor bug fixes, tweaks and improvements will surely be added as well. Stay tuned for more info on the matter.
