After the recent controversy showing that Microsoft was paying YouTube users to praise the Xbox One, a new leak has appeared online, confirming that Electronic Arts also practiced such marketing strategies last year for Need for Speed: Rivals, Battlefield 4, and more.

YouTube users, especially those affiliated to large content companies, have a lot of influence over regular gamers, and quite a lot of companies have realized this fact.

Yesterday, it was revealed that Microsoft had been paying YouTube users for videos that praised the Xbox One console and its different games.

Now, NeoGAF has just posted a new series of screenshots and details that reveal that Electronic Arts has also offered YouTube users money for videos that showed off features from games like Battlefield 4, NFS: Rivals, FIFA 14, NHL 14, or Madden NFL 25.

As of yet, EA hasn't commented on these allegations.
