Electronic Arts has one of the most diverse line-ups when compared to its competitors in the game publishing business and during the E3 2014 trade event, the company worked hard to showcase the kinds of experiences that gamers would be able to buy this year.

Battlefield Hardline showed off its multiplayer modes on the show floor and plenty of gamers, both fans of the franchise and newcomers, were queuing in order to get a first look at the first-person shooter that focused on the fight between criminal cartels and the law enforcement agencies that were trying to stop them.

The game faces the unenviable task of competing with Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from Sledgehammer Games and Activision later in the fall, but the current beta version seems interesting.

Dragon Age: Inquisition, from BioWare, is the third title in the role-playing series and the demo presented during E3 2014 was designed to show a variety of its core mechanics and the size of the world that the company has created for it.

The Frostbite 3 powered experience looks great and seems to borrow the best possible elements from the previous two titles.

The Sims 4, coming out on September 2, is designed to enhance the intelligence of the simulated character, while also making it easier for gamers to create their dream homes and launch their own social events.

FIFA 15 was also playable at the Electronic Arts E3 2014 booth and the new installment in the football simulation series seems to deliver some improvements over this year’s title, even if nothing revolutionary has been shown so far.

There are more details associated with the players, especially superstars like Messi and Ronaldo, and an extra emphasis on showing how the crowds and the teammates react to various moments of the game.

Teams are also more prone to make mistakes that open up new options during a match and EA Sports also claims that players are more intelligent when picking up passes and are influenced by their mental state, which depends on their performance during the match.

E3 2014 Highlight – Dragon Age: Inquisition – BioWare has managed to deliver a truly impressive demo during the show, despite the fact that it did not allow gamers to actually take control of the game and explore the world for themselves; the combat system, the choices and the core narrative all seem to point to one of the most interesting titles of the year.
