Microsoft has just wrapped up its E3 2012 press conference and already the company has made some big announcements, chief among which being a lengthy presentation focused on Halo 4, its upcoming first person shooter.

Halo 4 is coming this November and Microsoft took full advantage of the game during its E3 2012 conference, presenting two impressive videos of Halo 4.

The first is a stunning live action trailer, which shows the maiden voyage of the UNSC Infinity, on which the game's multiplayer mode takes place.

The second is a gameplay video that shows the eventual fate of the Infinity, which crashes on a mysterious alien planet on which the franchise's protagonist, Master Chief, is also currently located.

What follows is a pretty impressive gameplay sequence that sees the Chief going through the jungle and eliminating not just regular enemies but also new types of opponents.

Check out the live action trailer above and the first Halo 4 gameplay video below. The actual game is out on November 6, exclusively for the Xbox 360.
