After presenting the stunning cinematic trailer for Assassin's Creed: Revelations, Ubisoft, the game's publisher, has now showcased a more impressive gameplay video, and even confirmed the release date of the upcoming title.

Ubisoft is getting ready to once more release an Assassin's Creed game at the end of 2011, the third in the last three years, so the legions of fans are eagerly awaiting the new installment in the popular franchise.

Ubisoft unveiled quite a few details up until now, including trailers, screenshots and lots of information about its gameplay, culminating earlier this week with the reveal of a full length cinematic trailer.

Now, it's time for gameplay to shine, as the French company showcased a 6-minute video with a pretty bombastic scene from the upcoming Revelations, in which Ezio Auditore, the protagonist, needs to sabotage the Constantinople harbor guards in order to make his escape from the city.

The video introduces us to the new hookblade weapon, which makes getting around the city much easier, and also presents some of the new toys Ezio can play with, including bombs or even flame throwers.

What's more, Eurogamer has come up with a seemingly official release date for Assassin's Creed: Revelations, saying that the game will be heading to the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 15 all around the world.

If true, then this will be the first time in the history of the franchise when the PC platform sees the release of an Assassin's Creed game at the same time as the consoles.

Revelations promises to end the trilogy of games that focused on Ezio Auditore and answer the huge amount of questions sent by fans of the series since the release of the first title.

It will not only focus on Ezio, but also on his predecessor, Altair, the hero of the original Assassin's Creed, as well as on Desmond, the descendant of the two master assassins, who must learn to use his skills against the Templar menace.

Expect more details about Assassin's Creed: Revelations in the following months, but, until then, check out the single-player gameplay video below.
