E-Ten just unveiled its
X600 handset and started shipments for the X800 one. The two devices greatly resemble each other, although the X800 is less evolved than the other.
The device has just started shipping and will soon be
available in stores everywhere. The phone has been expected for a long time now and many people will be delighted to see it out. It comes with the same splendid display of colors that E-Ten has gotten us used to seeing in their products up to this point and the same touchscreen as some of its predecessors. This will make it capable of competing with the iPhone and all those other handsets that try to top Apple's phone.
E-Ten Glofiish X800 will be seen as larger than many people wanted it to be, especially as there are many other contestants out there in a form that might fit better. At the dimensions of 113.5 x 60.5 x 15.8 mm and 146 grams, it will disappoint those people who want a compact and comfortable to use device above anything else.
The 2.8-inch display is surely its strongest point, as it supports a 480 x 640 pixel resolution. Moreover, it also recognizes handwriting, which will prove to be great to those people who use less frequently used traditional dialects.
E-Ten Glofiish X800 runs on a powerful 500 MHz processor, which will also leave its mark on the command response time.
The phone is also 3G enabled, but brings HSDPA data transfer speeds of up to only 1.8 Mbps. Other than that, it also includes GPRS and EDGE technology, for those times when 3G is not the best solution. Connectivity is also available through WiFi, USB and Bluetooth, as to make the package complete.
