We heard about E-TEN Glofiish X800 some while ago and it looked quite impressive at the time. FCC has just approved this handset and made it ready for launch on the US market.

E-TEN Glofiish X800 has actually received the Best Choice award at this year's edition of Computex. People had good reasons for doing this, as the device has several features which are bound to impress anyone looking for mobile high tech. The handset comes with Windows Mobile 6 installed, the most evolved version of the software at this time.

One important performance that this device includes is that it also has GPS support, due to the built-in SiRF Star III chipset. The phone's sizes are quite small, especially when considering this capability. The Glofiish X800 comes at only 113.5 x 60.5 x 15.8 mm and looks comfortable enough, although small.

The 2 megapixel camera will fail in providing images of an artwork quality, although it proves quite useful in many situations. There is also a secondary VGA camera, packed for making video calling possible. From this feature, it's already clear that the smartphone also comes with 3G connectivity, as more demanding users would expect.

Other specifications also include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, as most evolved devices are capable of providing nowadays. These features show E-TEN's Glofiish X800 like one of the best equipped devices for providing evolved solutions for both personal and business needs.

The smartphone has just been FCC approved, which means that people living in the US will be soon getting the chance of trying it out themselves and see if it is truly worth the attention received at Computex. A release date has not been set for the Glofiish X800, although there are high chances of seeing it quite soon on this market too.
