E-TEN GLOFIISH X800 has been spotted some time ago at FCC, receiving its approval for a US launch. The handset has just been spotted for sale, although only in the UK and Russia for now. Still no words on the US.

It is pretty vague how official the E-TEN GLOFIISH X800 reported sales are, in fact. The producer has mentioned nothing on the handset hitting the market, but the vendors promise to deliver the device within 48 hours. The mobile phone is set to hit the market at a large scale in the near future, also arriving in the US.

E-TEN GLOFIISH X800 works on Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system and comes packed with some impressive resources. It runs on a 500 MHz CPU and also packs 256 MB of Flash ROM and 64 MB SDRAM. The phone works in GSM quad-band network and also packs EDGE, GPRS and HSDPA, which provides data transfer speeds of up to 3.6 Mbps.

One of the most impressive features about E-TEN GLOFIISH X800 is surely the 2.8 inch TFT-LCD touchscreen. It supports a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels and 65,536 colors which look vivid and much better than what any other similar device has to offer. Other specifications also include GPS, Bluetooth and WiFi, which completes the package of all possible mobile communication solutions.

There is also a 2 megapixel camera, nothing out of the ordinary here. The smartphone also packs a VGA secondary camera for placing video calls and make the best of the 3G technology. The phone is rather large, at 113.5 x 60.5 x 15.8 mm and 139 grams in weight, but it certainly is one of the most evolved smartphones out there, managing to combine great performances with an impressive look that can be set mainly on account of the gorgeous display.

E-TEN GLOFIISH X800 is available for sale at Camtech Electronics Ltd in the UK, for the price of USD 750 and should be available in Russia too, although there is less information provided on this specific market.
