Alleged Boston bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is lying in a hospital bed in a Boston clinic, restrained with handcuffs as police are constantly watching him, the Telegraph writes.

As I told you earlier, he was admitted to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston on Saturday with serious injuries to his leg and neck.

He is now able to answer questions by writing and he is currently being interrogated.

The Beth Israel is treating 11 victims of the Boston Marathon bombing at the moment, CBS adds.

Watertown Police Chief Edward Deveau tells ABC News that the suspect was hurt when they found him on a boat in Watertown.

Deveau describes that Tsarnaev was moving slowly when captured and possibly tried to take his own life by shooting himself in the throat.

The suicide attempt account has not been confirmed, as police could have inflicted the wound while chasing him.

“He was very slow and lethargic in every move that he made and they could see that there was no device on his chest. They kept creeping closer to him and then they felt it safe enough to pull him away from the boat,” Deveau recalls.
