Boston bombing suspect has already admitted to taking part in the terror attacks, but it has all been put on record before his Miranda rights were read.

NECN reports that he has stopped talking to authorities since being allowed to have a lawyer.

According to TPM, the FBI wanted to keep questioning the suspect.

Magistrate Judge Marianne B. Bowler was present at the proceedings, held at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

The U.S. Marshals Service now has custody of the Chechen immigrant, whose next hearing has been set for May 30.

As I mentioned, he was questioned under a Public Safety exception, and his Miranda rights were only read on Monday.

Officials are now saying that, even if his original statement is thrown out in court, he has admitted to the crime to the man whose car he hijacked, with him still inside it.

“We just killed a cop. We blew up the marathon. And now we’re going to New York. Don’t [expletive] with us,” he allegedly said.
