Tecmo Koei has just released a new trailer for the upcoming Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn, to remind everyone that the game is coming to North America and Europe this Summer.

Tecmo Koei is handling publishing in Europe, and Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn will come as both a physical retail product as well as a digital download. North American distribution is being handled by Bandai Namco, that only intends to publish the game as a downloadable title.

The trailer offers a sneak peek at what the action will be like in the upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive game, featuring, of course, a plethora of explosions.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn will include over 120 mobile suits inspired by the legendary animated series for players to assume control of, the most in the series so far.

Its gameplay is, of course, derived from Omega Force's popular Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series, incorporating elements from the science-fiction Gundam franchise, players taking control of giant mobile suits instead of figures from Japan's history and using lasers instead of nunchucks.

The game is set in an era known as Universal Century and allows players to engage in battles across air, land and sea, and even space, drawing from the 30 years of history that the giant franchise has in order to present players with numerous missions from across its lifespan.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn will also have players at the helm of the massive Mobile Armor units for the first time in the series, giving them access to an unparalleled arsenal of destructive weapons and abilities.

Gamers will be able to enjoy the intense action in the game with their friends, in either split-screen local or online multiplayer, being able to tackle the game's missions together in the multiplayer cooperative mode.

The mech-battling game features a ton of visual enhancements over its predecessors, reflected in both the way the world is impacted by the war as well as in the Mobile Suits, as after fighting hordes of enemies in each scenario, players will be able to upgrade their mechs and see the improvements represented in-game, offering a clear notion of their progress.

Dynasty Warriors: Gundam Reborn was released in Japan for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita platforms in December 2013 and will be making its way to the west this summer. However, the North American and European releases will only be for the PlayStation 3 home entertainment system, as the companies have not mentioned anything about Sony's portable console.
