Video game developer and publisher Tecmo Koei has announced that the upcoming Dynasty Warriors VS, which will be launched on the Nintendo 3DS handheld, will be focused heavily on multiplayer, allowing gamers to choose between 1 versus 1 engagements, 2 versus 2 battles and battle royale modes that include 3 and four players at the same time.

A mini-game collection called Musou Rush can also be played in head-to-head mode and players also have the option of using a character creator in order to make their own personalized fighter that can then be guided through a single player mode.

Dynasty Warriors VS is expected to arrive on March 15 in Japan and Tecmo Koei has not confirmed whether the game will also be launched on Western markets.

The Dynasty Warriors games are built around gigantic battles and characters with extensive special powers and the 3DS is a good way to get the same experience on the move.
