Dynasty Warriors Gundam is a videogame developed by KOEI Co. Ltd. and published by Namco Bandai Games Ltd. The game was released in March 2007 for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 2 from Sony, the Xbox 360 from Microsoft but lacked a PC port. It is classed as an action adventure game played from a third person perspective with a lot of influences taken from science fiction and some light fantasy elements. There are also role playing elements linked to the leveled way characters progress.

Fans of the long running series that were expecting yet another installment in the quintessential action title based around the epic novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms found that KOEI changed the time tested formula for this Gundam spinoff.

Where Chinese generals of extreme power once roamed, players are now tasked with controlling giant robots as seen in the manga series with the same name. There are hundreds of enemy mobile suits spread through the levels that gamers need to hunt down and destroy in order to advance.

There are two campaigns offered in Dynasty Warriors Gundam, one of them taken directly from the animated series, allowing the player to experience and interact with the most important moments, and an entirely new one, which focuses on the way certain characters progress as time goes by. The physics of mobile suit battles are well simulated and the fiction of the animated series is well integrated.

There's a PS2-only version of the game exclusive to the Japanese market featuring more battle scenarios and mobile suit choices.
