Microsoft has announced a partnership with TenDigits designed to offer users of Windows Mobile and BlackBerry phones access to Dynamics CRM. The alliance of the two companies will result in TenDigits' MobileAccess 4.0 offering what Microsoft referred to as full-featured mobile integration
between Dynamics CRM and mobile phones, either BlackBerry-based or running Windows Mobile. What the duo is essentially trying to do is accommodate an increasing mobile workforce whose dependency on mobile devices grows continually.

"We're pleased to work with Microsoft to empower more mobile work forces with access to Microsoft Dynamics CRM. Hundreds of customers are already using MobileAccess to open up Microsoft Dynamics CRM capabilities to mobile phones, and we share Microsoft's vision of delivering solutions that give organizations the very best technological and business fit for their individual needs," revealed Sean Gocher, president and founder of TenDigits.

Dynamics CRM is a customer relationship management solution offered by Microsoft to business customers. Dynamics CRM is set up as an integrated system, enabling businesses to deal with their clients throughout the various aspects of a sale, from contact to purchase and beyond. Via MobileAccess 4.0, Microsoft and TenDigits are delivering anytime/anywhere access to Dynamics CRM as well as offline functionality. The Redmond giant indicated the third quarter of this year as the availability date for MobileAccess 4.0. According to Microsoft, the main advantage of the solution is that it permits a close integration with Dynamics CRM even at an administrative level, without requiring additional servers.

"MobileAccess provides offline access to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and helps organizations achieve fast time to value, reduce IT costs and increase mobile worker productivity," said Brad Wilson, general manager for Microsoft Dynamics CRM. "This alliance extends the power of choice to organizations by giving mobile users access to customer data when and where they need it."
