Microsoft is making its hosted customer relationship manager offering more attractive to companies that have chosen CRM products from competitors until now. The Redmond giant is promising that organizations dumping Salesforce.com and Oracle CRM On Demand for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online will be able to enjoy the service free for a total of seven months. Specifically, current Salesforce.com and Oracle CRM users that decide to jump ship will be able to leverage Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online as a free trial for 30 days, as well as an additional six months on top of the initial trial period without paying a single cent.

And, just to sweeten the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online deal, the software giant has also revealed that it has made available the November 2009 service update for its hosted CRM offering. The refresh is designed to illustrate the company’s strong commitment to the continuous evolution of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, being the third update in the past 18 months.

Users that have already embraced Microsoft’s Cloud CRM offering now have new features available, from free mobile access to enhanced data import, but customizable views as well. Microsoft has also indicated that it worked to simplify the pricing model for Dynamics CRM Online. The update will be rolled out to all Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online customers by mid-November 2009.

“The new service update to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online demonstrates our commitment to simplify the customer experience, deliver rapid innovation and offer more value at a lower price,” noted Brad Wilson, general manager of Microsoft Dynamics CRM. “Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online enables businesses to begin driving productivity and results in a matter of minutes.”

Emphasizing that Salesforce.com and Oracle CRM On Demand converts get a total of seven months of free Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, the Redmond company indicates that it simply brings to the table a better offer than rivals in this space. “We’ve built our business on Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, and we’ve helped more than 75 companies adopt the service in the past year,” stated Steve Bowles, chief executive officer of Pelagic Solutions Inc. “In our experience Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online simply delivered a lot more capabilities and value than other software as a service (SaaS)-based CRM systems, at a lower price.”
