With the availability of Dynamics CRM 2011 Release Candidate, Microsoft is also offering the developer tools designed to let customers build on the customer relationship management product. The Dynamics CRM 2011 Software Development Kit (SDK) can be downloaded from the Redmond company as of earlier this week.

Offered free of charge, the Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 SDK is designed for a professional audience involving developers, system customizers, and report writers.

According to the software giant, the SDK is designed to enable customers to expand Dynamics CRM 2011 in a variety of areas.

“This SDK documentation contains information for developers writing server side code, custom business logic, integration modules, workflow assemblies, and plug-ins,” Microsoft explained.

“It provides an architectural overview of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, the entity model, security model, and Web services. Sample code and walkthroughs are provided to guide you through the new features.”

Via the SDK, developers will also be able to get guidance on how to customize the Web client or Dynamics CRM for Office Outlook. The information available will simplify a variety of tasks, such as scripting, integration of custom Web pages, also offering access to sample code.

“In addition to the documentation, this download package includes the assemblies and tools needed for development, helper code for authentication, and Microsoft Visual Studio projects for all sample code found in the documentation.

“The package includes a visual style guide you can use to make your customizations fit in smoothly. Look for regular updates to this SDK,” Microsoft added.

The Redmond company is in the final stage of the development process for Dynamics CRM 2011.

Customers can now download the Dynamics CRM 2011 RC bits and see what’s coming in 2011. The software giant is going to launch Dynamics CRM 2011 in January.

On Thursday, January 20th, 2011, Chief Executive Officer Steve Ballmer will announce the global release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2011 via a virtual launch event.
