An intense third-person shooter

Just as the name suggests, Caster is all about casting spells and getting various power upgrades that can help you increase either your fire power or various abilities. What's interesting about this game is that it has a somewhat addicting dynamism attached to it. You will often find yourself shooting at random so that you can satisfy your thirst of firepower.

One has to admit that the gaming experience can cause an addiction, mostly because of the fact that Casper captures your attention with flashing energy discharges, or by using different warping power skills. The title has a very important feature, more specifically you can play it by just using the mouse to target and the movement keys to explore the 3D environment.

If you need to access all the other powers, all you have to do is simply hold down the mouse two button and a menu will appear, wherefrom you can easily choose one of your destructive skills. The storyline is not that captivating, but all of this is bound to fade away, while you will rapidly lose track of what you have to do.

Caster comes with various scenarios where you will have plenty of 3D environmental space to practice your targeting skills, or even use you warping techniques. From a land of lava to a green natural-like environment, you can always  benefit from the same dynamic fidelity. I was personally impressed by the characters' reflection in the water. I did not expect it to be so detailed, considering that other graphical aspects of the game can be considered somewhat blunt.

This new 3D reality can be very easily explored by your character, taking into account the fact that you can make use of various superpowers. The monsters, however, are a little slow, and you might sometimes be inclined to think that you have a severe advantage over them. On the other hand, this impression might be be quickly discarded, once you will find that the agility of your character can be at times overwhelming. In those moments of crisis, you can easily get confused and find yourself shooting in all directions, except pointing at your target.

For the price of 9.99 dollars you can enjoy all of the features of the game, without having to worry about the restrictions. If you appreciate third-person titles that come with dynamic textures and all types of  flashing superpowers, then you will surely be entertained by what Elecron LLC has developed. On a personal note, I believe it could work in the future version on refining the graphics. After all, it's in the quality of the details that the true gaming experience lies.

Here are some snapshots of the application in action:
