Dying Light has had a pretty eventful launch; in fact, there are still issues with the game’s release in some countries and/or platforms. What we mean is that what the image above says might not be available for you if you live in the UK, Australia or several other countries where Dying Light can’t be played yet.

If you have already pre-ordered Dying Light and have been expecting to be able to play it on January 27 like many other gamers, but you live in those regions where the game has been slightly delayed, you’ll probably be disappointed.

This is the bad news, but the good news is that developer Techland announced when their game would be launched in these countries where Dying Light can’t be played yet.

Long story short, here is when you can expect the game to be available to play if you live in one of these areas. The Xbox One version of Dying Light (digital version) is supposed to arrive in Australia and New Zealand on January 28.

You'll be able to play Dying Light on January 30 at the latest

In addition, the PlayStation 4 version (digital) in all countries is scheduled for release on the same date, January 28. If you live in one of these countries, then you will be able to play Dying Light later today.

However, in France, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands, Dying Light will be available from January 29, so that’s tomorrow. Last but not least, in the UK and other international markets, Techland confirmed that the game would be available on January 30.

The reason for this botched release is unclear for the moment, but at least the game will be playable only a few days after the official launch.

Although the announcement comes a bit later, Techland states that they have just been informed about these delays, so there you have it, folks.
