Dying Light, the upcoming zombie action adventure title from Polish developer Techland, has just received a brand new gameplay video, not to mention a few more details about its Natural Movement system and the actual premise of the whole story.

Dying Light was revealed to the world last year as a next-gen zombie game with a sprawling open world and a special movement system that combined free-running movements with survival action.

After showing off different gameplay videos and talking a bit about the game's performance on the PS4 and Xbox 360, besides its other platforms, developer Techland was forced to delay it until February of 2015, so that it can deliver a polished experience that shines on all devices.

Now, ahead of E3 2014 next week, Techland has rolled out a fresh gameplay video that shows even more action from the zombie game, as well as a brief glimpse at its story.

The game takes place in a zombie-infested town and it seems that the player will have to roam the urban environment and do the bidding of a shady individual who employs a lot of mercenaries. Traversing dangerous zones filled with regular and boss zombies is required and there are some pretty interesting boss fights hinted at in the trailer.

Besides the video, Techland has also talked a bit about the Natural Movement system, which has been developed specifically for this game in order to allow a smooth mix of regular and parkour maneuvers.

"This feature, designed internally by Techland, not only lets players move around the whole environment of the game easily and intuitively but also combine parkour-style movement with brutal combat. It will be further explained and showcased during the prestigious E3 2014 expo, which takes place in Los Angeles."

A few more details about the general premise of the first-person action survival horror game have also been revealed, emphasizing the difference between roaming the city at day, when the zombies aren't that aggressive, and at night, when they become faster and more agile.

"During the day, you roam an urban environment devastated by a mysterious epidemic, scavenging for supplies and crafting weapons to help you defeat the hordes of mindless, flesh-hungry enemies the plague has created."

"At night, hunter becomes prey as the infected grow in strength and aggression - but even more lethal are the nocturnal, inhuman predators that leave their hives to feed. You will need to make use of all your skills and any available means to survive till dawn."

Dying Light will debut in February of 2015 and is set to arrive on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
